Cruz'N'Eureka

Cruz’N’Eureka is a car show that is a benefit for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. This is the 16th annual event which will be held on the streets of Old Town between C and G Streets, from 1st to 3rd Streets. We hope to have at least one HEVA member Cruz’N through the streets of Old Town with the car parade, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Cruz’ starts under the bridge near the Adorni Center. North Country Fair
September 19 & 20
The North Country Fair is an annual two-day festival held on the Arcata Plaza in Arcata, CA every September since 1974. The fair includes around 200 craft, food, and information booths, parades, live entertainment and bands. Solar Neighbors Tour 2009
October 4, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Solar Neighbors Tour is a free event showcasing the potential of solar energy and green building. Six homes, three in Eureka and three in Arcata, will host 45 minute talks on PV Electric Systems, Space Heating, and Solar Water Heating. The tour also includes many open-houses with examples of these technologies in action. HEVA members will be showing off their vehicles on the Arcata Plaza, and discussing the use of solar power in transportation applications. For more info visit redwoodenergy.org
